It’s kind of ironic that the act of booking a vacation—a time used to escape the stresses of day-to-day life—can bring with it an entirely new set of stressors. That can be especially true for family trips, when there’s a whole crew of wants and needs to contend with. Enter: the all-inclusive resort.
Designed to simplify the vacation experience, all-inclusives do the heavy lifting by supplying an array of amenities on site—most at no additional cost.
With a slew of kid-friendly activities already and its brand-new Treasure Beach Village, Beaches Turks and Caicos eliminates the burden of heavy planning, allowing parents and their kids to settle into vacation mode fully. Here’s what you can expect.

1. Test the Waters
Beaches Turks and Caicos offers the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, so curious would-be divers who are age 10 and older can get a taste for diving without the extensive coursework required for full certification.
After a 30-minute course on important diving fundamentals and a deep dive into the workings of scuba gear, guests receive a “resort certification,” after which they’ll go on a real dive, accompanied by a certified pro, to depths of up to 40 feet.
2. Blowing Bubbles
Guests as young as 8 years old can get their feet wet by starting to learn the ropes through the PADI Bubblemaker program or PADI Seal Team course.
Bubblemakers learn how to become comfortable with real scuba gear in shallow water (no deeper than 6 feet) before taking their first underwater breaths. Young Seal Team divers learn all the basics, plus they’ll tackle additional skills like buoyancy, navigation and even how to take underwater photos.
3. Certified Vacation Fun
Guests whose thirst for the sea can’t be satiated with a one-time discovery dive can get fully certified on site through the PADI Open Water Diver course. (We recommend completing the coursework ahead of arrival to avoid hours of online classwork while in vacation mode.) After successfully finishing the four checkout dives on site, guests can dive here and anywhere else in the world.
Afterward, take advantage of the ample dive opportunities available— two dives per day per person are included for all certified guests. Plus, when the sun sets, adventurous divers can even explore the after-hours critter scene during a night dive for an additional fee.

4. No Fins Required
On land, cool off at the resort’s expansive water park, which features three twisting waterslides and, for something a little less adrenaline-pumping, a lazy river that idly navigates under bridges, through waterfalls and past water jets. Food trucks—including one that offers an assortment of mac and cheese flavors and another packed with frozen treats—make for fun, no-fuss pick-me-ups after a long day of splashing around in the sun.
Older kids and teens will appreciate an afternoon relaxing in the Shadow Lounge, an indoor hangout stocked with fun, from air hockey and pool to the latest console games.
5. Bigger and Better
The resort, divided into separate themed villages, opened a brand-new section in March 2026. Treasure Beach Village is designed to exude the island’s natural oceanic wonders (be on the lookout for the conch shell art installation created by a local artist). In addition to 101 new suites—including a sprawling, 2,800-square-foot penthouse suite—Treasure Beach features a 15,000-square-foot pool, a splash zone for kids and even a 32-seat movie theater.
