The Garmin Descent T2 transceiver uses sonar technology to communicate with paired, compatible air-integrated Descent dive computers at distances of up to 33 feet (10 meters). It allows divers to monitor tank pressure and share critical dive data in real time.

Connected divers can track one another’s gas supply, depth and distance, enhancing situational awareness and team coordination underwater. When paired with compatible devices, divers can also exchange preset two-way messages for streamlined communication.

When integrated with the Garmin Descent S1 buoy, the system expands its capabilities to include communication with surface support teams and extends the communication range up to 100 feet, creating a more connected and safer dive experience.

Why We Love It

Enables divers to monitor and message each other using compatible devices within a 10-meter range for improved awareness and communication.****
