Fish ID: Sea whip and feather anenome Location: Blue Peter, Grand Cayman Camera: Olympus 3040 in a Tetra Housing with YS-120 strobe Description: This is an image I saw in my mind's eye as I ambled around. It took a lot of effort to get the ambience the same in the photo as it felt whilst diving.
Fish ID: Sponges and sea fans Location: Babylon, Grand Cayman Camera: Olympus 3040 in a Tetra Housing with YS-120 strobe Description: Babylon is a great dive site and it's nice to be able to show the large sponges and masses of sea fans adorning the almost inverted section of wall here.
Fish ID: Star coral Location: Wildlife, Grand Cayman Camera: Olympus 3040 in a Tetra Housing with YS-120 strobe Description: Macro photography at night is great fun in the Cayman Islands as the corals come to life and begin to feed. I was lucky to capture this with the slow digital shutter.
Fish ID: Brittle star Location: Mitch Millers, Grand Cayman Camera: Olympus 3040 in a Tetra Housing with YS-120 strobe, half power Description: I love brittle stars, and this image just amazed me with how much color there was.
Location: Doc Poulson, Grand Cayman Camera: Olympus 3040 in a Tetra Housing Description: The wheelhouse is the grandest part of this small wreck. It's nice to get into a position where it seems big and prominent.
Fish ID: Queen angelfish Location: Orange Canyon, Grand Cayman Camera: Olympus 3040 in a Tetra Housing with YS-120 strobe Description: A classic "Cayman Moment."
Fish ID: Scorpionfish Location: Mitch Millers, Grand Cayman Camera: Olympus 3040 in a Tetra Housing with YS-120 strobe Description: I took several photos of this fish, some close ups and some of the entire fish. This was my favorite.
Fish ID: Parrotfish Location: Oro Verde, Grand Cayman Camera: Olympus 3040 in a Tetra Housing Description: A challenge to make the Oro Verde look like a wreck again, but the lucky parrotfish cruising by made it come to life.
