ScubaLab tested eight new regulators in a head-to-head evaluation. The SCUBAPRO M11 EVO/C370 is our Best Buy for 2025. ScubaLab measured each regulators ability to deliver air at a range of depth and breathing rates on a breathing simulator at Dive Lab in Panama City Beach, Florida. We also tested regs at Blue Grotto Dive Resort in Williston, Florida, with a team of test divers who scored them in 14 categories, including ease of breathing, dry operation and comfort.

The updated M11 EVO first stage regulator uses a double spring layout to increase performance while maintaining a compact size. Paired with the C370 second stage it earned excellent scores on the breathing simulator and showed remarkable consistency across our range of depth and breathing work rates.

Test divers scored the reg “very good” for ease and dryness of breathing and described it as “soft, smooth and quiet.” It has a powerful purge and a tendency to free flow without the inhalation adjustment and Venturi controls dialed in.
